Telegram of condolences from the President of the Republic of Poland to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

On 7 July 2005, in the wake of tragic terrorist attacks in London, President of the Republic of Poland Aleksander Kwaśniewski sent the following telegram of condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Shocked by the tragic terrorist attacks in London, I wish to convey, on behalf of all Polish citizens and from myself, words of our sincerest condolences and sympathy. We join in mourning and grief the bereaved families and friends of the victims of these barbaric attacks. We reach out to them with our heart-felt words of consolation.
Poland along with all other countries of the civilized world condemns this hideous crime. We hope that the instigators, organizers and perpetrators shall be found and duly punished. We pledge Polish services and institutions ready to engage in full cooperation and to provide all necessary assistance.
On behalf of all Poles and from myself I pay homage to the memory of the victims of these criminal acts.  At this difficult moment in time I wish to convey our words of solidarity with Great Britain, tried and true friend and ally of the Republic of Poland.
