"Poland has weathered the global financial crisis without the kind of serious damage evident in some countries in the region. That optimism was reflected by other politicians and analysts in Warsaw, including the finance minister, who predicted that Polands economy would grow more than 2 percent this year", said Lech Kaczyński in his interview with "International Herald Tribune", the Global Edition of "The New York Times."
"It was obvious to us that this was the only tough security structure there was in the world and that the membership of NATO would only mean benefits for Poland, said Mr. Kaczyński on the 10th anniversary of joining NATO.
