Program Proposals Office
The Office deals with drafting and implementing programs and strategic proposals of the Chancellery of the President as well as establishes a co-operation framework for advisors to the President of the Republic of Poland and coordinates their activities. It is responsible for substantial preparation and for organisation of meetings of the Public Debate Forumin such areas as the Local Government for Poland, Efficient and Ancillary State, the Potential of Rural Areas as an Opportunity for Development and the Economy of Competitive Poland – the Public Debate Forum is a platform for the President of the Republic of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski, to carry out social consultations; the aim of the forum is to draft proposals of specific legislative and systemic changes in the areas which are important for the state. The Office’s tasks also include carrying out studies on key public issues relating to economy of an efficient state, local governments and rural areas as well as preparing guidelines for drafts of President’s legislative initiatives concerning the above-mentioned issues.
