President Andrzej Duda, on an official visit to Vietnam, met with Polish and Vietnamese parliamentarians at the country's parliament in Hanoi on Wednesday.

 

President Duda started his official visit to Vietnam on Monday. On Wednesday morning, the president opened a meeting of Polish and Vietnamese parliamentarians working in cooperation groups in their respective parliaments.

 

The meeting at Vietnam's National Assembly was the final point on Andrzej Duda's Hanoi agenda. On Thursday, he is scheduled to open a Poland-Vietnam Business Forum in Ho Chi Minh City, where he will deliver a speech devoted to economic relations.

 

Also on Thursday, Andrzej Duda will take part in the ceremonial opening of the Foreign Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Ho Chi Minh City. The office is to support the expansion of Polish companies by organising business missions and creating promotional and media campaigns.

 

At the end of his visit, President Duda will meet Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City's People's Committee.
