The President appointed the new government
On November 18, the President Bronisław Komorowski appointed a government with Mr Donald Tusk as Prime Minister.
The following 19 persons will work together with Prime Minister in the new government:
- Waldemar Pawlak - Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Economy
- Radosław Sikorski - Minister of Foreign Affairs
- Jacek Rostowski - Minister of Finance
- Bartosz Arłukowicz - Minister of Health
- Krystyna Szumilas - Minister of National Education
- Marek Sawicki - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development
- Michał Boni - Minister of Administration and Digitization
- Mikołaj Budzanowski - Minister of Treasury
- Sławomir Nowak - Minister of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy
- Marcin Korolec - Minister of Environment
- Bogdan Zdrojewski - Minister of Culture and National Heritage
- Jarosław Gowin - Minister of Justice
- Elżbieta Bieńkowska - Minister of Regional Development
- Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz - Minister of Labour and Social Policy
- Tomasz Siemoniak - Minister of National Defence
- Joanna Mucha - Minister of Sport and Tourism
- Jacek Cichocki - Minister of the Interior and Control of Special and Intelligence Services
- Barbara Kudrycka - Minister of Science and Higher Education
- Tomasz Arabski - Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and Chief of Permanent Committee of the Council of Ministers
“In the democratic system, success of the government means a better outlook for all of us and a better future for the whole country”, said Bronisław Komorowski during a ceremony at the Presidential Palace. He wished success to the new Council of Ministers. The President presented all members of the government with copies of the Constitution.
