'Vaclav Havel was always a faithful friend of Poland'
Vaclav Havel was always a faithful friend of Poland and the Polish people. He left a very clear and beautiful mark on the contemporary Europe, and the Central Europe in particular, - said President Bronislaw Komorowski on Sunday talking to Polish journalists in Shanghai.
- I believe we all share the same sense of great loss. We have lost a trusted friend who continued to be such also in hard times, - noted Bronislaw Komorowski as he learned about the death of the former President of the Czech Republic.
Following the decision of the President of Poland, the state flags flying at the Presidential Palace and the Belweder Palace were lowered at half-mast.
