Polish and Georgian Presidents, Bronislaw Komorowski and Giorgi Margvelashvili met in Warsaw on Thursday to discuss security issues and Poland's support for Georgia's EU aspirations.

 

The two presidents, according to the chancellery, reviewed the state of bilateral relations, including Poland's support in the process of Georgia's getting closer to the EU within the association accord.

 

The two presidents also referred to security issues in view of Russian aggression in Ukraine and Moscow's aggressive policy in the region.

 

Also on Thursday Poland's National Security Office (BBN) and the Office of the National Security Council of Georgia signed a cooperation agreement defining the timetable of mutual contacts as well as the scope of tackled topics. (PAP, own information)
