After a plane crash of “Sybir” airlines

On July 10, 2006 the President of the Republic of Poland, Lech Kaczyński sent the wire of condolences to the President of Russian Federation, Władimir Putin, on a plane crash in Irkuck.

In the text of the wire we read:

“Please accept my deep condolences on a tragic plane crash of “Sybir” airlines which occurred in Irkuck. On behalf of the Polish People I wish to extend my condolences to the families of the victims of the plane crash. We stay united in pain and thoughts with the Russian People and with everyone who was affected by this horrible tragedy. We wish a fast recovery to all the injured people who survived and are now in Russian hospitals.
At the same time I would like to pay tribute to the competent and devoted plane crew, rescue teams and Russian doctors who rescued the lives of many passengers including two Polish citizens.”
