Poland is interested in stepping up its exports to China

On 23 November 2006, Chief of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland Aleksander Szczygło received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Poland, Yuan Guisen.

The talks focused on bilateral relations between Poland and China, notably on economic cooperation. The meeting was a courtesy call.

The Ambassador pointed to the very good development of relations: a busy schedule of meetings, rapidly growing trade, a dynamic influx of Chinese investment to Poland and significantly growing numbers of Poles visiting the People’s Republic of China. The Chief of the Presidential Chancellery stressed the interest of the Polish side in stepping up its exports to China to expand the scope of economic cooperation. He underlined that bilateral relations have intensified significantly over the past few years.
