Croatian presidential couple comes to Poland

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic will pay an official visit to Poland on January 28 and 29. The Croatian head of state will be accompanied by her husband.


On January 27 Polish and Croatian Presidents Andrzej Duda and Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic will attend ceremonies marking the 71st anniversary of the Nazi German concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau liberation.
The programme of the official visit starting on January 28 envisages a meeting of the Polish and Croatian presidential couples, a face-to-face meeting of the two presidents, plenary talks of the two delegations and a press conference of the two heads of state.
Later on Thursday Presidents Duda and Grabar-Kitarovic will attend the inauguration of a Polish-Croatian Economic Forum.
Also on Thursday President Grabar-Kitarovic will meet with Polish PM Beata Szydlo and the Senate speaker. In the evening the Croatian presidential couple will attend a gala dinner hosted by President Duda and his wife Agata.
On Friday the Croatian president will address the Polish Institute of International Affairs and will end her official visit to Poland. (PAP)
